Applying Lashes & Lash Care

STEP 1: Before applying lashes, make sure they fit your eye shape by laying the clean lash over your existing lashes/lash line. If needed trim lashes always from the outer edge and do so little by little to avoid cutting TOO much.

TIP: If your false eyelashes are looking a little flat, bend them in a C shape a few seconds to give them a curve.

STEP 2: Curl your lashes so they hold and blend better with your false eyelashes, you can also apply a coat of mascara.

STEP 3: Apply adhesive and let it sit for a few seconds to allow it to get tacky. This will help the lash stick to your lash line better and not slip around while applying it.

STEP 4: You can use your clean fingers/nails/ tweezers a mix of all, whatever you feel more comfortable with and apply your lashes. It is easier to apply if you start at the outer corner first and move your way in. Try to get as close to your lash line as possible. If it is your first time applying lashes or you don’t have much practice it will be difficult to get your lashes close to your lash line but don’t get discouraged practice makes perfect (:

TIP: Applying eyeliner on your lash line, whether it's just a simple liner or a wing liner right before applying your lashes, helps cover that excess space between your lash line and your falsies (if you are struggling to get them close).

*Never pull your eyelashes to remove them. This will not only damage and reduce the amount of times you will be able to wear your lashes, but you can risk pulling out your own lashes. *

STEP 1: Grab a cotton swab, soak it in oil free makeup remover and lightly rub it on the lash line to soften the eyelash glue.

STEP 2: Grab the eyelash at the corner and slowly start to remove it. If you feel a slight pull just rub a little more makeup remover.

It is easier to peel off the glue from your lashes right after you have removed them, but after a long day of looking fabulous who has time for that right?

STEP 1: To clean your lashes you want to grab a cotton swab and soak it in makeup remover or alcohol and gently rub it on the eyelash band to soften any glue residue.

STEP 2: Grab your lash and with tweezers gently start pulling off the glue from the lash band. During this step be extra careful and make sure you are pulling only the glue and not the lash band. Pulling on the lash band can result in tearing and your lash falling apart.

METHOD 2

STEP 1: Soak your lashes for about 2-3 minutes in a mixture of alcohol and water. This will help soften glue, any mascara on the lash, and avoid bacteria.

* ONLY soak lashes for 2-3 minutes anything longer than that will cause the lash to lose its curl.

STEP 2:  After soaking time is complete, you can pat dry and repeat STEP 2 of the first method.

Doing these steps will extend the number of times you can wear your lashes and avoid any bacteria as well.
